A car seat education class was held on June 22, 2024 at Mary’s Place in Bellevue. A demo seat provided the opportunity for hands-on engagement from each family after the conclusion of the PowerPoint. Attending families spoke various languages (French, Lingala, Amharic, Spanish) so instructor utilized body language and props to demonstrate proper use. For future Mary’s Place classes, interpreters will be a requirement. Request to visit other Mary’s Place locations has already been expressed.
