On 6/4/24 a community seat check event was held in Yakima County. Debi Allessio was sent as a CPST Instructor to provide seat sign-offs. This is a critical requirement for recertification and one of the most challenging components to obtain. Debi has approved eleven seat sign-offs so far and expecting more to be submitted. Eight child restraints were provided to families. Another event was held on 6/28/24 where Olivia Whiting, NW Portland Area Indian Health Board also attended to provide mentorship and support to the local technicians and the families they serve.
